There is a variety of Foundation Piers or Foundation Piles on the market ranging from Helical Piers, to basic Concrete Piles.
At DLN Solutions, we utilize a Steel Cylinder, Centric, Pier System that is built to last for a lifetime, thus, our Lifetime Warranty that we include in all installations.
Centric Pier Systems have been utilized on homes for decades now and have stood the test of time. A Centric Pier System is installed by excavating underneath your homes footing, keeping the entire footing intact and up to code.
Eccentric Pier Systems are installed excavating around your homes footing, breaking away a portion of the footing in the process, applying a L bracket to the footing, and driving pier segments. We, along with various Structural Engineers, do not agree with intentionally breaking a footing as it WILL lead to greater damage in the long term.
Loads should be supported directly underneath the structure.
